現在このコーヒーを手がけるレナルド・オバジェ氏は、農園の管理から輸出までを担うビデス家の3代目です。

Vides家とウェウェテナンゴのコーヒーづくりの歴史は、1958年に祖父のホルヘ・ヴィデス氏がフィンカ・ラ・ボルサを設立したことから始まりました。医師として地域医療に貢献する傍ら、森林に覆われた土地を開墾し、ブルボン種とカトゥーラ種の栽培を開始。仕事の傍ら、農園に足繁く通い、1980年には農園内に学校を設立しました。彼が地域に残した功績は大きく、現在もウェウェテナンゴ国立病院には彼の名が残されています。
2001年には、フィンカ・ラ・ボルサが初めて挑戦したカップ・オブ・エクセレンスで総合2位を受賞。この結果をきっかけに、この土地が世界トップクラスのコーヒーを生み出すテロワールであることを確信しました。2026年One Of A Kind部門でも、彼らの手がける農園が2位を受賞しました。その優れた自然環境を受け継ぎながら、品質管理を徹底し、高品質なコーヒーづくりを続けています。
