This coffee was produced by Jesus Antonio, who won the second place at the Colombia Washed Coffee Festival which was held in September 2023 by a local trader, Fair Field Trading.

Located in the famous coffee region of Tolima, south of Los Alpes and San Francisco in the municipality of San Antoino, the estate benefits from the region's unique climate and geographical conditions.
At an altitude of 2,100 to 2,150 meters, it is an ideal environment for coffee cultivation. Although the farm is 30 hectares, only 4 hectares are dedicated to coffee cultivation, which speaks to the scale of Mr. Jesús' coffee business.
Cars are not allowed on the farm, so it takes two hours to get there from the nearest road.
・Unique growing conditions : El Placer's coffee cherries, located at an altitude of 2,150 meters, ripen slowly, resulting in improved flavor.
・Cultivation considerations : This farm, located on a flat plateau, receives the optimal amount of sunlight throughout the day, which greatly contributes to the consistently high quality of the coffee beans.
