Robinson Guarniso's Planadas farm, located in the fertile landscape of El Triunfo in Tarqui, is a great example of his commitment and expertise in coffee cultivation.
Since its establishment in May 2015, together with his wife Luz Mari Guarniso and his son Cristian Andres Gua Luniso, he has been growing different types of coffee on a 2 hectare farm.
The farm has 1,000 Colombian trees, 7,000 Castillo trees, 150 Geisha trees of various ages and 300 of his trees, and 1,500 Caturra trees that are 6 years old.

For four years, he had been unhappy with his previous exporter and buyer, but in 2021, the big change in Robinson Guarniso's extraordinary coffee growing story came from FFT, his Colombian SAS.
His partner was the beginning of his ship. This partnership was transformative.
He recognizes the exceptional quality of his coffee through both recognition and fair financial compensation.
With this newfound support, Robinson embarked on a major upgrade of Planadas Farm's facilities.

・He invested in a cable system.
This is additional equipment for transporting coffee cherries to the processing plant 150 meters up the mountain.
Additionally, he made significant renovations and improvements to the Secadero, improving this important aspect of the coffee drying process.

These advances, driven by a partnership with FFT Colombia SAS, not only reflect Robinson's dedication to improving coffee production, but also highlight his keen vision for continued growth and excellence. I am.

He was delighted with this achievement and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to FFT and the Japanese buyers who appreciated his coffee.
He knew in his heart that this victory was not only a testament to the quality of his coffee, but also to his delicate and refined process.
Family collaboration, a deep understanding of coffee varieties, and a masterful process: Robinson Guarniso's story highlights the essence of Prana that makes his Das farm outstanding. Coffee processing at Planadas Farm is a work of art, meticulously refined to ensure the highest quality.

Harvesting: Robinson carefully ensures that the cherries are only harvested when fully ripe.
- Initial resting time: After harvesting, he lets the cherries rest in the tank for 24 hours.
- Pulping is then carried out and traditional fermentation in tanks begins immediately.
∟(Dry) Fermentation period is carried out without water in a tank for 36-40 hours.

Washing: At this point, Robinson finishes fermentation and washes the coffee. ∟Oreado (first drain): Let the wet coffee sit overnight and drain.

Drying: This last important stage of Robinson's coffee processing uses a secadero (drying area) carefully covered with blue plastic. ∟Robinson spends 15 to 20 days on this process, patiently checking and adjusting temperature, air circulation, and duration based on weather conditions to achieve optimal drying.
∟Once the coffee parchment comes out of Secadero, Robinson also takes his time before bringing it to market.
Using his expert technique, he lets the dry parchment sit for four weeks. Gently rest the beans to reach the peak of flavor and consistency.
This period is very important for stabilization and homogenization and is a testament to Robinson's skill and precision in coffee processing.

Harvest period:
・First period: June to August
・Second period: October to December The delicate and careful process from harvest to drying demonstrates Robinson's commitment to producing superior coffee.
Each step is designed to enhance the unique characteristics of each variety, ensuring the exceptional quality and flavor of Planadas Farm coffee.
